After a very successful first event last year, Munich’s movement teachers Ludwig Hefele, Raphael Hafez and Nil Teisner come together once again to create a one of a kind movement immersion.
With over 25 years of combined teaching experience, they bring together diverse practice, authentic experience and deep insight across five immersive days.

Expect a group of about 30 participants. Practice in indoor spaces but also outdoors (any weather) - it’ll be a great time with wonderful people and an immersive event which will stay in your memory long after!

An investigation into our relationship to risk. Overcoming the fear of heights and falling, staying calm under stress and learning to trust one's body in different environments.
Build a simple method to confront and grow from fear. Learn rolling and falling techniques, test them in playful ways and integrate them into parkour and acrobatic explorations.

How can we transmit our ideas and inner worlds to the outside?
Find ways to express in various forms and images across practices with powerful tools and scores.

What makes a good partner? How can we support each other’s growth and evolve as a tribe through fighting, dancing, and training?
In this immersion, participants will be introduced to concepts from martial arts — not as a way to fight or compete, but as a framework for collaboration, awareness and learning how to hold one’s ground.

In the end, we don’t aim to just offer isolated practices or tricks.
As interdisciplinary movement teachers, we weave different materials and perspectives into a cohesive and vibrant experience. We see beauty in connecting what may at first seem separate, and believe there is great value in this integration for both practice and life.
Within this, we aim to create a space where you can recognize yourself in the practice — not through imitation, but through exploration — allowing your own movement language and personal fingerprint to emerge.
YOUR TEACHERS

Nil is a teacher, acrobat, creator, space holder, creative – and above all, a mover.
Just like his own practice, his teaching is rooted in playful exploration, patient learning and creative movement. He sees physical preparation, strength and care as an essential counterpart to technique, skills and free movement.
By merging these polarities, Nil has been exploring a wide range of movement practices for many years – with acrobatics holding a particularly special place in his heart.
He teaches workshops around the world, inspiring participants to explore movement playfully, find their flow and unlock their own creativity.

Ludwig got his Bachelor of Science in the field of Sport Sciences and has been a parkour and movement practitioner for over a decade.
In 2013 he started coaching parkour at a local club in Munich. Since then he’s been developing his (coaching-) skills to build a holistic training system that includes many different disciplines like parkour, breaking and gymnastics.
Besides his in person classes, he also teaches online and is part of the Motion Impulse team (Modern Methods of Mobility / Handstandfactory). He also started digging into performing arts and is part of several agencies which specialize in shows and events.

Raphael is a student and teacher, fascinated by the totality of human movement.
As a physiotherapist and coach he creates spaces and learning environments for people to dive into the cosmos of their movement abilities and sharpen the understanding of themselves.
His movement practice evolved over almost three decades and is composed of different forms and schools, like competitive and internal martial arts, acrobatics, athletic development, somatics, bodywork, dance and many more.
He worked with hundreds of humans from all over the world, the German Judo Team and some of the most acknowledged clinicians in the sports and health industry.

Our aim is to create a rich event for everyone!
You’re a perfect fit if you love to move in diverse ways, like to explore new things and are open to experiencing.
Our teaching focuses on an approachable method of learning skills, concepts and techniques. You’ll be challenged in just the right dose - no matter if you’re a beginner or a seasoned mover.

The Immersion is open to all levels in backgrounds – you don’t need any particular skills to be able to join.
Still, consider that this will be a 5 day event with over 25 hours of moving – if you’re completely new to moving and practice, this might be overwhelming. It is very helpful to come with an active movement practice - which style doesn't matter.
Also, for this event it is expected that one has the willingness to try something unfamiliar, to show openness to novel experiences.
And if you already joined last year, you’ll be faced with fresh material, ideas and concepts.

No, while Acrobatics will be a big part of the curriculum, you’ll be faced with a varied practice ranging from Parkour, Dance Research, Fighting, Strength & Mobility, Partner Practice, Nature Exploration and more.

No, we will explore various locations – both indoor and outdoor.
Practice will be on grass, concrete, matted space and more - both in sunny and rainy conditions. We're aiming to create an authentic experience!
The commute in between locations will be organized thoroughly by the teachers.

As our Early Bird price has expired and all scholarship spots are already taken, the only option is to offer you a payment plan (two payments spread over two months).

The price covers the complete teaching and workshop. Accommodation, food and travel costs are to be paid by every participant individually.
Also, the price does not include VAT, as Munich Movement Immersion is a GbR and makes use of the small business regulation (Kleinunternehmer Regelung).

We even help you connect with other participants to organize your stay during the time.
You’ll be properly taken care off and don’t need to figure out things on your own!

All tickets have a 50€ non refundable portion (unless we cancel the event for any reason).
More than 90 days before the Event: Refund of all monies paid minus the 50€ deposit.
90–30 days before the Event: 25% refund of the total ticket price (deposit retained).
Less than 30 days before the Event: No refund.
